The start of Adaptive Data Networks

Adaptive Data Networks was founded in 2009 when our co-founders set out to leverage their technical experience to help small businesses. After spending years working for various technology consulting firms, it became apparent that there were issues with how consulting companies viewed their customers and the technology. Our goal was to present thoughtful, customer-focused solutions that weren't just focused on the bottom line. Our humble beginnings involved years of getting to know every customer in a way that no other consulting, hosting, or infrastructure organization could. We leveraged our expertise to deliver world-class solutions that solved key business problems through a significant investment in each of our customers, in both time and technology. Along the way, we built a loyal customer base that would act as a stepping stone to help us achieve our goal.

In 2012, we entered the cloud hosting market by acquiring one of our partners. The cloud and its associated technologies have been heavily utilized by growing businesses since its inception. Out offerings evolved to include the same level of personal attention in this new market. With facilities in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Miami, our unique data center footprint provided us with a solid ground to launch services such as Veeam Cloud Connect, Disaster Recovery as a Service, IP Transit (Dedicated Internet), and managed storage solutions, as well as existing ones such as bare metal servers, managed hosting, and solutions consulting. Since the acquisition, we've continued to experience significant growth from both new and existing customers. This has allowed us to build additional complex hosting solutions that take advantage of our expanding datacenter footprint. In late 2017, we brought on yet another new facility in Atlanta to fuel our surging cloud growth.

Rich Miller

As President & CEO of Adaptive Data Networks, he manages the day-to-day operations while steering the Adaptive Data Networks' business structure into the future. His goal is to build an efficient vehicle to deliver best-in-class service and solutions for our clients.

Rich has worked in the IT Managed Services space for the last 15 years and has built a successful MSP practice servicing hundreds of clients and thousands of endpoints. As a Small Business MSP owner, I realized the challenges of delivering cloud hosting to my clients and have co-founded Adaptive Data Networks to remedy those challenges for other MSPs.

Lee Clements

Lee handles technical direction setting for our Adaptive Cloud, Infrastructure as a Service, Networking, and Security product offerings and day-to-day operational execution of all things tech at Adaptive Data Networks.

Getting started in the hosting industry back in 2006, Lee brings a plethora of experience to the table regarding cloud technologies, including lift and shift migrations, containerization, application development with a cloud focus, and open-source expertise.

Jim Mitte

Jim Mitte is a business and internet marketing professional with a steady focus and drive to help businesses become great successes. He graduated at the top of his class from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Advertising.

To kick off his career, Jim began investing and partnering with various organizations, helping him learn the dynamics necessary for businesses to thrive. With the knowledge from his own successes and failures, Jim discovered his true passion-- helping small businesses flourish.

With his profound experience [... read more] and diverse set of marketing skills, Jim established his own marketing company in Brighton, Michigan, called Turtlehut. This successful internet marketing company has been growing and evolving for the last ten years. As the founder and President of Turtlehut, Jim helps businesses generate leads and rapidly increase sales. In addition to a background rich in various marketing aspects, Jim and his team provide the most effective internet marketing strategies and products to help benefit each individual client.

Jim specializes in the optimization, Search Engine Marketing, and numerous other marketing skills to help entrepreneurs and franchises reach their business goals. He holds a great passion for watching his team and clients succeed. In his free time, Jim enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children, snowboarding, and boating on the open water.
